Dear Community! Not more than a month ago we joined the yearly Fablab conference in
To tackle the problem of rice pests and diseases in the field, Seeed Studio, partnered with Chengdu Yunyi Technology Co., deployed the Rice Pest & Disease Mornitoring and Forecasting solution in Guangxi, China. This project utilized the SenseCAP S700 Weather Sensor, Industrial pH Sensor, DO sensor, SensCAP 4G Sensor Hub, as well as the SenseCAP Portal and Mobile APP. Meteorology is not only necessary for the growth of rice, but also a key factor in the occurrence and spread of pests and diseases. Real-time monitoring can guide farmers in developing field management practices, such as irrigation, fertilization, and use of pesticides, ensuring a bountiful harvest.
Hey community, Are you passionate about leveraging technology to make the world a better place?
Spearheaded by Tanzania Open Innovation Organization (TOIO), local university students and citizens in Tanga co-created “BSF Farming – Creating Protein Content” project – a resource-efficient and low-cost protein production method by monitoring and optimizing BSFs’ living environment. This has been done by deploying Seeed’s SenseCAP LoRaWAN sensors, SenseCAP Outdoor Gateway, SenseCAP Portal, and SenseCAP Mate App.
We’re happy to officially launch the “Project Repository of IoT Into the Wild Contest for Sustainable Planet 2022” today, which is a corporate report that congregated and summarized last year’s winner projects and other noteworthy projects from the IoT2Wild Contest.
From July 10th to 20th, Seeed’s Field Application Engineer, Lakshantha Dissanayake went to Sri Lanka for an on-site event called ‘Dinacon 3’ – an event focused on wild hacking for nature.
