What is Licensed Products Program

Seeed licensing means that the licensor (cooperative partner) grants its own products (software or hardware), trademarks, brands, etc. to the licensee (Seeed) in the form of a contract. Seeed will assist with all electronics manufacturing including structural parts, testing, certification, provide engineering and quality assurance services, and promotion, sales and distribution around the world using Seeed’s own network and channels. Seeed will ensure that your product is well looked after from start to finish.

Licensor (Cooperative Partner)

The Licensor is the owner of the product design (software & hardware), trademarks, and brand of the product.

Licensee (Seeed Studio)

The Licensee provides manufacturing, sales, marketing and after-sales services for the product.

Licensed Products Program Process

Apply for the program

Clients provide product introduction.

Average 1-2days.

Product Review

If the application has been approved, a contract will be signed with licensor.

Seeed will initial the manufacture review.

Average 5-10days.

Production

Seeed will start the manufacture. Time will be determined by the specific product.

Average 25-60 days.

Launch & Marketing

Seeed will launch the product officially and work with the licensor on marketing.

Sales and Rebate

Seeed will promote the product all sales channels and will pay licensor loyalty fee monthly.
