Chaihuo Makerspace, a subsidiary of Seeed Studio, the first maker space in Shenzhen and the second in China. Its name “Chaihuo” signifies the spirit of collaboration—”the fire burns high when everybody adds wood to it.” As a Fablab, Chaihuo provides access to array of tools, materials, and advanced technology. It’s not just a physical space, but a vibrant community hub where maker professionals come together for events, training, and workshops. Committed to diverse industrial solutions, Chaihuo integrates technical expertises and entrepreneurs, nurturing boundless innovation and inclusive solutions.

Maker Faire Shenzhen

Since 2012, Maker Faire Shenzhen organized by Chaihuo connects Shenzhen’s hardware ecosystem with the global maker community. With participants from 100 countries, it has become a vibrant innovation hub. Maker Faire Shenzhen fosters collaboration between technology and traditional industries, sparking limitless innovation opportunities.
