Its name “Chaihuo” signifies the spirit of collaboration—”the fire burns high when everybody adds wood to it.” As a Fablab, Chaihuo provides access to array of tools, materials, and advanced technology. It’s not just a physical space, but a vibrant community hub where maker professionals come together for events, training, and workshops. Building a LoRaWAN network that features ultra-low power consumption and ultra-long-range communication.

Building a LoRaWAN environmental sensors.

Quickly deploying LoRaWAN environmental sensors to immediately see the parameters such as air temperature, humidity, CO2, soil moisture, soil temperature, etc.

Creating a LoRaWAN position-tracking solution that can track the assets and animals indoors and outdoors.

Training an AI model to detect objects and get the results via the LoRaWAN network.

Since 2012, Maker Faire Shenzhen organized by Chaihuo connects Shenzhen’s hardware ecosystem with the global maker community. With participants from 100 countries, it has become a vibrant innovation hub. Maker Faire Shenzhen fosters collaboration between technology and traditional industries, sparking limitless innovation opportunities.
