Seeed’s Ranger at MakerFaireShenzhen-China 2024

Recently in Shenzhen China, Dessap Loic one of our Seeed’s Rangers had the privilege of participating at Maker Faire Shenzhen held from November 16-17, selected by Chailo Maker Space, MakerFaire Shenzhen and Seeedstudio. He proudly exhibited RobotSave Education, Robotsave bot projects, and various related activities at the event.

RobotSave Education is a STEM-focused organisation committed to enhancing quality education and promoting community inclusion by:

Hosting Free AI-IOT, STEM Robotics and drone workshops: By uniting future STEM leaders through dynamic collaborative national and international robotics competitions. Our mission is to highlight STEM education’s importance, excitement, and real-world application.
Providing Stem kits, and IoT tools: These kits empower young changemakers and innovators, equipping them with essential skills like critical thinking, creativity, confidence, and technological expertise to drive impactful change with Tech4Good initiatives.

Robotsave bot is an innovative farm bot designed to optimize agricultural processes. It uses advanced sensors to gather essential soil and weather data from Seeed’s Groove and SenseCap industrial sensors, which are transmitted via LoRaWAN for real-time analysis and actionable insights. Key features include:

Predicting crop yield potential based on soil conditions and precise location,
Real-time fertility assessments with recommendations for water and natural fertilizer use.
Easy access to insights through a user-friendly mobile and PC application.

Showcasing Our Tools and Activities

At Maker Faire Shenzhen, we also demonstrated the tools and technologies that support our activities, including:

Seeed Studio SenseCap and Xiao series,
TmeEducation Arduino boards,
LoRaWan-based IoT projects, and workshops conducted in Cameroon and France.

A memorable Experience

We had the pleasure of meeting Seeed Studio’s Ceo Eric Pan, Alison Yang and Meilily li along with the other director manager. We also toured Seeed Studio’s prototyping factories and headquarters, receiving a warm and welcoming experience.
