Hey Community,

We’re excited to share the news of our participation in the upcoming ICTP-UNU Workshop on TinyML for Sustainable Development, set to take place in the dynamic city of Macao, China from April 26th to 29th, 2024! This event, a satellite of the ICTP’s 60th anniversary celebration, is co-organized by the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP), the United Nations University Institute in Macau (UNU Macau) and Seeed Studio.

As your trusted AI Hardware Partner, we are dedicated to delivering open hardware solutions and tailored customization to drive technological advancements that make a positive impact on society. We’re thirlled to be part of such a prestigious event!

What's the Workshop About?

The 5-day workshop will shine a spotlight TinyML, a groundbreaking technology that enables machine learning models to run on low-cost, low-power microcontrollers. This transformative technology holds immense potential for advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and unlocking new opportunities in fields such as healthcare, agriculture, environmental monitoring, and conservation.
TinyML has garnered significant attention in recent years for its ability to empower developers, researchers, and industries to create intelligent, low-power devices in resource-constrained environments. With its applications spanning across various sectors, TinyML serves as a powerful educational tool, bridging concepts from computer science and engineering curricula.

Hands-On Training

During the 5-day event, Seeed’ Application Engineers will host two engaging and hands-on sessions featuring our commercially available hardware:

Dive into the world of computer vision with Grove Vision AI V2. Learn how to harness its power alongside SenseCraft AI Model Assistant and Arduino, unlocking endless possibilities for advanced visual sensing applications with a vast library of publicly available AI models.

Discover the power of edge computing with Edge Impulse and XIAO ESP32S3 Sense. Dive into building your own keyword-based project and master the art of crafting voice recognition TinyML projects from scratch. Keyword Spotting (KWS) is crucial for voice recognition systems, and with the power of TinyML, achieving it on smaller, low-power devices is within reach.

Join Us!

Whether you’re a developer, a budding innovator, or simply curious about the future of technology, this workshop is for you! Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to learn, collaborate, and explore the fascinating world of TinyML.

Stay tuned for more updates. See you in Macao!
