5 Steps to Connect SenseCAP S210X Sensors to Helium with Datacake Templates

Moreover, we also launched comprehensive LoRa solutions from the end to the cloud, supporting every end user to build IoT applications.
To meet the growing demand for end nodes on the People’s Network, we’ve been working with Datacake to create templates to enable the community to add SenseCAP LoRaWAN sensors to the Helium network conveniently and easily.
Datacake is an IoT platform that aims to enable users to create their own IoT applications even if users do not have a background in coding. Datacake’s low-code IoT platform provides an end-to-end solution out of the box. IoT platform software handles ongoing management tasks and data visualizations. It provides a user interface for the data collected from the deployed IoT sensors. You can think of them as the middleman between the data collected and the user!
With Datacake templates, you can add any LoRaWAN sensor to the Helium network and start collecting data within 5 steps! Here, let’s take our S2104 Soil moisture and temperature sensor as an example:
Step 1: Setup Sensors via SenseCAP Mate App
Step 2: Add New Sensor in Helium Console
Click “Devices”, enter the Device EUI, App EUI, App Key (refer to SenseCAP mate APP), and add a label to a device.
Step 3: Upload Data from Helium to Datacake
Step 4: Add the Sensor on Datacake
Step 5: Power on the Device and Start Monitoring
Now you can monitor the soil moisture and temperature data on Helium Console as well as on the Datacake platform! You might want to monitor other parameters. Rest assured! The built-in Bluetooth facilitates setup has greatly reduced the cost of large-scale deployment so that you can deploy devices with easy set-up and receive data in minutes.
Furthermore, S210x sensors are fully compatible with the Helium network. As long as there is Helium network coverage nearby, you can get started with sensor deployment instantly.
