Zephyr Project Now Supports Seeed Studio Wio-E5 Dev Board
We are extremely excited to announce that Seeed Studio Wio-E5 dev board is now supported by Zephyr. By working with Zephyr, developers and product manufacturers have the tools for solving embedded RTOS challenges with Wio-E5 out of the box.
The Zephyr Project is a Linux Foundation hosted Collaboration Project. It’s an open source collaborative effort uniting developers and users in building a best-in-class small, scalable, real-time operating system (RTOS) for the Internet of Things(IoT) optimized for resource-constrained devices, across multiple architectures.
The Wio-E5 Dev Board is a compact board for the evaluation of the Seeed Studio Wio-E5 STM32WLE5JC module. The Wio-E5-HF STM32WLE5JC Module supports multiple LPWAN protocols on the 868/915MHz frequency bands with up to 20.8dBm output power at 3.3V. All GPIOs of the Wio-E5 Module are laid out supporting various data protocols and interfaces including RS-485 and Grove.
