Seeed Awarded “Outstanding Exhibitor” at CHTF 2020
We are proud to announce that Seeed was awarded a prize as “Outstanding Exhibitor” at the CHTF 2020 “5G Smart Pole Expo” were we presented our new weather stations and sensors.
We are proud to announce that Seeed was awarded a prize as “Outstanding Exhibitor” at the CHTF 2020 “5G Smart Pole Expo” were we presented our new line of weather stations and sensors. The Prize was awarded by the Smart Pole Industry Association of Shenzhen , an Industry Body founded in 2018 to promote the development of the smart pole industry by setting standards and providing support for manufacturers of smart poles and smart pole components.
We were exhibiting the new SenseCAP ONE series of industrial-grade meteorological sensors/compact weather stations for the use in smart poles which also won the Excellent Product Award.
Smart poles integrate smart lightning,environmental monitoring, video surveillance, charging stations for electric cars, 5G, Wi-Fi and other functions into one piece of technology. They are an important part of the infrastructure for smart cities by gathering data and acting as a carrier for 5G networks. Additionaly , they are the interface where citizens can interact with the smart city by charging their electric vehicle or accessing a smart poles Wi-Fi Network or 5G.
While there are many sources to get weather info, it’s more and more important to get precise gridded weather datasets in an urban environment, no matter for environmental protection, municipal management, traffic control, food delivery planning etc.. Hence the weather stations are an important part of a smart pole.
