Announcement of Price Increase on ODYSSEY X86J4105

Dear Customers,

Please be advised that Seeed Studio will increase prices up to 15%~20% on all ODYSSEY X86J4105 series products, due to the lock down caused by COVID-19 and currency exchange. The price change will be effective on Monday December 7, 2020. In some special circumstances, price changes for certain products may exceed the amount of this percentage range. All orders received on or after Monday December 7, 2020 will be invoiced at the new price.

We deeply apologize for the sudden announcement of the price increase. However, due to the pandemic, many of the ICs and components we use are in shortage. In order to continue our shipment, we have been purchasing these materials at 2 to 5, even 10 to 20 times of its normal price.

Besides, as our material and operating costs are calculated in CNY and exchange rate of CNY to USD has increased for around 5%, we have been suffering from losses for several months already. In order to maintain the operating of ODYSSEY X86J4105 and provide continuous service to our customers, we have no better options but to increase the price at this moment.
