Compare NVIDIA Jetson Nano 2GB and Jetson Nano 4GB
NVIDIA’s GPU Technology Conference (GTC) just started on October 5 at 06:00 PDT. During the keynote by Jensen Huang, he announced the brand new NVIDIA® Jetson Nano™ 2GB Developer Kit, starting from only $54.
Developers and AI enthusiasts can get their hands on the same CUDA-X™ software and tools with NVIDIA Jetson Nano 2GB at a lower price to easily create projects with fast and efficient AI using the entire GPU-accelerated NVIDIA software stack.
Let’s take a closer look at the new NVIDIA® Jetson Nano™ 2GB Developer Kit. Besides it’s lower price and half of the memory of Jetson Nano 4GB, what are the other differences?

As we can see from the table, the new Jetson Nano 2GB only has one MIPI CSI-2 D-PHY lane only. Also, Jetson Nano 2GB got rid of the display port and only leave the HDMI port to connect to external displays. USB connectors are also changed. Only one USB 3.0 and one more USB 2.0. For wireless connectivity, Jetson Nano 2GB has another version that is bundled with an 802.11ac Wireless Adapter.
