New Releasing of Extension Boards for Seeeduino XIAO
We got a lot of feedback from our lovely customers that they need extension boards for Seeeduino XIAO:
Here we bring you new three versions of extension boards, however, the design is not confirmed yet. Let us know your thoughts if you want more on-board add ons! Please comment under the blog post. We will carefully listen to the community and take actions!
Seeeduino XIAO is the smallest Arduino compatible board in Seeeduino Family. It is an Arduino microcontroller that is embedded with the SAMD21 microchip. The interfaces of Seeeduino XIAO is rich enough in such a tiny Dev. Board as well.

- Multiple development interfaces: 11 digital/analog pins, 10 PWM Pins, 1 DAC output, 1 SWD Bonding pad interface, 1 I2C interface, 1 UART interface, 1 SPI interface.
About Author
One thought would be to add a Raspberry Pi header with the ability to link the I2C connection from the XIAO to the PI to allow the XIAO to work as an I/O co-processor. Mixing voltage sources – PI/XIAO might be an issue.

We’d like to see WiFi and/or Bluetooth
For WiFi/BT, you need ESP32, not SAMD21. They fill different purposes.
ESP32 seems too large… Like to see BLE on XIAO.
