#Weekly Recipe : 3rd Week August
Hi dear friends,
It’s Friday again! In this week, we prepare beautiful LED demonstration, which will turn on when you come; a nocturnal solar light bulb which can bring the light to the poor; making a charlieplexed LED clock for wife; beautiful seven-color-singer shining in the bedroom and an awesome DIY air-conditioner…Choose one and make something in the weekend!
“LED demonstration with People Detection” contributed by Maker StationIn Seeed’s display corner, we have made a charming map of China, telling about the maker spaces in different provinces. This LED light will turn on when people come in front, and automatically turn off after people leave. A small interaction project with PIR motion sensor.
“Nocturnal Solar Light Bulb” contributed by deba168“In India, one of world’s largest, most populated countries, over 74 million rural households live without power. To help people living in villages, I made this solar light bulb for providing a low cost solution by replacing their harmful kerosene lamps. This will empower the world’s poor to replace kerosene with clean solar-powered light.”
“Charlieplexed LED Clock” contributed by dushu“One of my clocks stopped working – and it happened to be a clock my wife likes a lot. Went to the repair shop and the guy said that he didn’t have the spare parts and could not repair this. So – I thought – why not build an LED clock – I had tons of LEDs and an RTC module just waiting to be used.”
“Seven Color Singer” contributed by ssdxs “This simple project consists of a passive buzzer and leds of seven different color. Our idea is that we use function tone() to let the buzzer to give out different tones and use function digitalWrite() to let the leds flash according to the tones. “
“No air conditioning ? Just make one!” contributed by Yubin Peng“My work is taken to three part. The refrigerating system, the temperature measuring system, and the temperature controlling system.”
Enjoy your weekend:)
