GUESS&GIVEAWAY #SEEEDHIT 2nd
The first SeeedHit is too easy for you guys. The rule is who reply with the labelling machine before 3/18 (include) will get a coupon from us.
Congratulation! Pekka, Mike, Francesco valla from blog and Hendrik Lipka from g+. We will contact you soon.
Here goes the second one, come on & see you next week.
Automatic watering controller.
Looks like 5-channel, standalone temperature logger. Well insulated, maybe for a thermal testing chamber?
Portable 5 channel temperature logger with thermocouples as sensors.
It seems part of a weather balloon project with 5 channel temperature sensors.
5 channel temperature logger.
I’d guess it’s a thermocouple monitoring system…
Looks like it is taking temperature measurements in an environment that either gets really, really cold or really, really hot – hence the well insulated box. Seems to be a standalone data-logger with no control or communications functionality as apart from the sensor leads (looks like thermocouples) coming into the box there is no other leads exiting the box.
A rough guess at a BOM:
4xThermocouple interfaces (green PCB at bottom)
1xSwitch mode PSU board (blue board at top)
1xMCU board with some sort of non-volatile storage (board wrapped in Mylar tape – presumably to stop it shorting out on things)
1xBattery (big blue cylinder on the left).
+ Wiring, housing, protoboard etc.
Not sure what the blue rectangle on the proto-board might be – a level converter maybe?
Thermometer with 5 channels? Atleast the yellow meter is Calibrator/Thermometer 🙂
congratulation, please contact [email protected] to prove yourself
Congrats Pekka! Early birds get the worm it seems 🙂
So Sonic, pretty obvious it was a multichannel thermometer but I’m really interested to know – what was is it used for? That’s a pretty serious housing it’s in…
This seems a PCB reflow oven controller for soldering smd components.
Weather balloon project?
