New Products Overview
We are back to work 2 weeks after new year’s holiday. Seeedstudio has launched many new products over past weeks. Now, let’s count it what new products are released.
1) GrovePi+ & GrovePi+ Start kit for Raspberry Pi
GrovePi+ is a system with 15 Grove 4-pin interfaces that brings Grove sensors to the Raspberry Pi. It is the newest version compatible with Raspberry model B/B+ and A+ perfectly. And at same time, GrovePi+ comes out with a kit that is carrying a GrovePi+ board together with 12 carefully selective Grove sensors. Those 2 products make your credit card size computer more possibility.
2) 3.5 inch Touch LCD for Cubieboard 1 and 2 (800×480)
CubieScreen is a 3.5″ TFT (800 * 480 dots) with capacitive touch screen ,It works on the cubieboard1 or cubieboard2 that run Linux and Android.
The WunderBar is a quick start development tool for software developers who unfamiliar with complex wireless hardware designing. It is an out-of-the-box tool that helps users get started quickly with Internet of Things sensor based designs using WIFI and BLE sensor applications. The kit mimics the appearance of a chocolate bar with a WIFI enabled master module, plus six detachable smart sensor mini-modules.
The robot gripper from Makeblock is perfect for all your gripping needs. It is designed for a heavy duty but lightweight PVC, and easy to build that comes with four standard M4 thread holes on the bottom.
5) Hummingbird 8Core CPU 64Core GPU 2GB DDR3 8GB EMMC
Hummingbird based on Allwinner Ultra-Octa A80 processor. A80 processor enriched with interfaces, including HDMI，EDP，LVDS/RGB LCD,USB & GMAC.It has all the basic functions of a PC when connect TV and keyboard, such as preadsheets, word processing,play games and HD videos etc.
6) EMW3162 WiFi Module(External IPEX antenna)
For the embedded products applications, it focus on the ultra-low power low cost. This Wi-Fi wireless LAN module. It combines the latest Wi-Fi technology and microcontroller technology, within IEEE802.11b/g/n wireless communications and a variety of energy-saving mode, widely used in a variety of new intelligent electronic products.
7) Gesture R “Tiny”, Gesture R “Bread” and Gesture R “Shield”
Gesture R is a single tiny module that includes Gesture Sensing, Proximity Sensing, and Ambient Light Sensing, they brings you to your DIY devices, with one of the latest technologies in advanced smart phones ! Gesture R is the first gesture sensing shield you can find in the market, it is tiny, inexpensive and user-friendly! We have Gesture R “Shield”，Gesture R “bread” and Gesture R “Tiny”,they have the same function, different size!
8) ManShow-RC1 (Robot Controller)
ManShow-RC1 is mainly designed for humanoid robots, bionic robots and arms with a highly integrated structure(it can also be used for other robotic systems), which integrates Arduino UNO R3 and SoftServo system(for 24 PWM-Style servos). With rich Arduino resources, standard connectors(for sensors) and servo control system(flexible, high-efficiency and stable), make it easier and quicker to creat your robots.
9) SoftServo-B10CH (Servo Controller/ RC Signal Generator)
SoftServo-B10CH is a 10-channel PWM signals generator, which can be applied to most of the devices that integrate RC interface, but the original intention of the design is to control the PWM-Style servo. It integrates RS485 and I2C into one connector, and they share the same user register, so the servo controller can be used via any one of the two interfaces at any time.
10) SoftServo-B24CH (Servo Controller / RC Signal Generator )
SoftServo-B24CH is a 24-channel PWM signals generator, which can be applied to most of the devices that integrate RC interface, but the original intention of the design is to control the PWM-Style servo. It integrates RS485 and I2C into one connector, and they share the same user register. All functions can be performed by reading or writing the user register, except for a few special operations.
11) GDA-HLB1 (Basic adapter for Gicren’s Servo Controller)
GDA-HLB1 is a simple adapter for all Gicren’s standard devices.
12) Firefly-RK3288
