Inside wiki – First Impressions

I found an old wiki item which I like to share:

I have an “Electronic Brick” and it is quite good, and while the Grove cluster mode where the sensors etc are connected by cables is quite similar, for me the standout is the actual sensor boards “Grove units” and the way these are made in a very standard and modular way. I am also keen to get into the jigsaw mode where the Grove are directly connected together, but I’m not quite sure how to do that yet. … anyone know?

In an hour or so playing with the starter kit, I have got the LEDs, buzzer, relay and temp sensor working, thanks to the existing sample Arduino and Electronic Brick code.

Here’s a issue list in 2011

  1. Potential Possibility of shorting when you use Arduino Duemilanove with the Grove shield, where the analogue connector solder tails touch USB connector on Arduino Duemilanove.

thx~ that’s why we use Mini USB for Seeeduino Series

  2. Hard to disconnect the Groves

the clip is setup for you to plugin, you can never plug in when it’s in opposite direction. We never solved the problem.

  3. Bad position

If you find any problem like this, you can write about them in wiki, category it Unsolved.
