New Product Post

This week we launched Shenzhen 2 U, our new online boutique that brings the savings of Shenzhen’s electronics market directly to you.  We’ve stocked it with some great LED products that are factory direct and very hot.

We have 4 different LED strip offerings. All of them are flexible, self-adhesive, and very bright due to their high LED density of up to 60 LED/m.  They can be ordered in a waterproof format which is great for outdoors and/or wet applications.  The homochromatic strips, Monochrome LED Flexi-Strip – 60 LED/m and  Monochrome LED Waterproof Flexi-Strip – 60 LED/m, are simply single color strips and available in red, yellow, green, blue, or white with no controller needed.

The RGB versions, RGB LED Flexi-Strip – 60 LED/m and RGB LED Waterproof Flexi-Strip – 60 LED/m, in conjunction with the RGB controller, allow the user to dictate the color and brightness of the LEDs.  With all of these fun options at such great prices, it’s hard to settle on just one project.

If there is one tool that you need to have when working with high frequency ISM bands, then it’s this one, the RF Explorer – ISM combo.  Unlike the expensive, commercial models, this digital spectrum analyzer is affordable, easy to use, and fits nicely in the palm of your hand.  It displays the full frequency spectrum in the band and the spread spectrum activity, if applicable.  It can be used indoors or outdoors, as it is independent of a PC connection.  However, if you want to add extra functionality, it can be hooked up to your PC via the mini-USB 2.0 connector.  Since this device covers 2.4GHz, it’s suitable for ZigBee, Bluetooth, and other protocols and standards.

Last but not least, we have another addition to the Grove family, the CUI32Stem.  This is the latest Create USB Interface option and part of the Microcontroller for Everyone (MFE) initiative.  It has a pre-installed real-time operating system, StickOS, which is perfect for someone who is just starting out and is unfamiliar with programming.  Plus, it’s also robust enough for more seasoned programmers who use C, BASIC, or Arduino languages.  In the future, we’ll have two upcoming Grove kits which will extend its reach and usability.

That’s it.  Until next time, keep on making.
