Hello Monday! Some of you may have conflictive feelings about Mondays. Never mind, I hope the new products can relieve your pain (sort of) and bring some joys to you. Let’s see what we have this week.

 

We have a new Talking Breathalyzer. It’s a customizable breathalyzer that tells you how much you have drunk. Yes, it’s open source so that you can easily modify the text massage displayed on the LCD screen and the MP3 music played when you’re drunk.

 

This is a new GPS module for the Grove system. Basically, it’s a U-Blox Neo-6M GPS module that also contains a simple patch antenna connected via a U.FI connector (ANT 1). Key features: 1 to 5Hz update frequency; Configurable from 4800 Baud to 115200 Baud rates.

 

We also have a new Ultrasonic Sensor for the Grove system. It’s a non-contacting distance measurement module that is compatible to the Grove system. Tiny size but has an industry-level performance.

 

This is a lovely green Multipurpose Headwear Scarf. You can use this as neckerchief, headband, scarf, mask, cap, balaclava, foulard, etc… It is stretchable, fits for all ages and genders as long as you like Seeed! Only the scarf, don’t try to buy our model!

 

We have a new Piezo Vibration Sensor. It’s a multi-purpose piezoelectric sensor for detecting physical phenomena such as vibration or impact. Basically, it’s a flexible component comprising a 28 μm thick piezoelectric PVDF polymer film with screen-printed Ag-ink electrodes, laminated to a 0.125 mm polyester substrate, and fitted with two crimped contacts.
