A better Aluminum alloy stand for DSO Nano
Even the DSO Nano is so light and slim, you must not want to always hold it in your hand. Finding something so you can let your DSO Nano stand on the table is very necessary. Few month ago, with the inspiration of one of our customers, we put this Contemporary Minimalism DSO Nano Stand to our catalog.
Today we have a better option. The picture shows a Aluminum alloy stand we just found in market, it works like a charm. You can use it with your DSO Nano, DSO Nano v2, even your iPhone, iPad (With 2 stand combined together) etc… And the good news is, it will be included in the retail version of latest DSO Nano by default. Those who already got DSO Nano can find this stand in our depot as well. The price will be 1.9 USD each.
In the end, a prototype of the new DSO Nano package. Green/white, simple but eye catching. We are still working on it, if you have any ideas, please let us know.
My question is the info supplied doesn’t tell you how to charge it.Also there is no TF card with it
What’s the manufacturer/supplier of the DSO Nano enclosure(V1or V2). I’m looking for a manufacturer/supplier of pocket enclosure devices for a device that I develloped.
If you could give a hint I would appreciatte it.
Regards!
We’ve ordered 1500 PCs from our supplier, with seeed logo on it. 1000 PCs will put into the DSO Nano V2 package, and the rest will be available in depot.
Well done! I am so excited I can’t wait anymore to buy me DSO Nano v2. When it will be available in your e-shop (approximately)?
Thanks;
Ya, it’s made by 3rd party.
Many items that I buy from China come in packages that are labeled “toys” or “electronic toys”.
The funny thing is, that isn’t too far away from the truth!
Maybe Seeed can do some creative labeling for you too!
@Fan
Yes – the package, the cardboard box of the device.
Bigger packages are opened by customs, and they don’t know what this device is – it looks like a GPS navigation. So they can charge additional taxes for an expensive “Garmin GPS device” if they “think” that this is Garmin.
Yes I know, they can be pretty idiotic sometimes 🙂
Looks like fun, I will try to buy one when they appear in the catalog.
nice stand, I bet the Seedstudio logo would look pretty sweet as the design!
I’m a bit surprised that you don’t even have it on the box, I guessing it’s manufactured by a 3rd party?
Do you mean that the package is too big? The final design should be smaller than the picture shows, and normally people won’t be charged by tax if they use regular Air Mail.
I really love this DSO Nano device, but the problems I would have with this order is that it is too big (large). The customs would think that it is a mobile phone and charge a lot money for it!
Maybe there could be an option of ordering a DSO Nano with a smaller package, a much much smaller one?
Thank you for your suggestions, we would love to give off the stand but we need find a easier way to process it. If we do this all by manual, it will make us extremely busy.
Anyway, thank you for supporting our product.
The question isn’t price, it’s about building brand loyalty by doing the right thing by rewarding early adopters.
The price is only $1.9, pretty much affordable i think.
One would hope you would include one for free for the past DSO Nano owners — maybe in our next $50+ order? Or some promo code for 50% off?
