SeeedStudio BeagleBone® Green Gateway is a new SeeedStudio BeagleBone® Green family board which provides both Ethernet and WiFi/BLE connectivity while keeping the same board dimensions and 2x46 pin headers as the SeeedStudio BeagleBone® Green and SeeedStudio BeagleBone® Green Wireless. In addition to upgrading the Ethernet connectivity to 1Gbit/s, we've incorporated a built-in Octavo OSD3358 SiP (System-in-Package) to replace many discrete components. OSD3358 integrates Texas Instruments AM3358, DDR3 memory, EEPROM, PMIS, LDO in a 21mm x 21mm 1.27mm pitch BGA footprint.
Seeed has a very close relationship with BeagleBoard.org® Foundation and has obtained BeagleBoard® Compatible status for our SeeedStudio BeagleBone® Green, SeeedStudio BeagleBone® Green Wireless, and SeeedStudio BeagleBone® Green Gateway products. As part of the agreement, our product line adheres to open-source principals which allows the boards to be modified. In order to do this in a timely manner, we also keep in stock the raw materials for all of the BOMs in our Open Parts Library (OPL). So parts are available at any time for a quick manufacturing run.
