Seeed Studio XIAO RP2040 - Supports Arduino, MicroPython and CircuitPython

The product is fine. There's no docs included, but "seeed wiki" is very good to get information.

I bought 3 and only 1 of 3 was DOA. The ones that did work have been excellent. Hopefully this is just early growing pains for this device. This is the first time I've had a DOA product from Seeed so I'm happy to give them the benefit of the doubt.

The Xiao ecosystem is awesome and I love that Seeed has managed to keep all components on one side of the board (unlike Adafruit's Qt Py RP2040) and has also been able to keep the SWD pins in the same place.

I am looking forward to a firmware upgrade and examples of use with Circuit Python and Arduino IDE. So far the only success I have had is making one of the LEDs blink. It does not yet work with the Expansion board! I cannot get the NEOPIXEL example to work either using a breadboard. Any working examples beside blink would be nice. I am ready to get going with it.

I love the XIAO form factor - I have several of the SAMD21 and the RP2040 XIAO boards. Its compact and has enough GPIO pins to be useful.

The RP2040 microcontroller is a beast - plenty of RAM and program space and the programmable I/O is unique to the RP2040.

The price is fantastic. We have come a long way to get to $5 for a board of this utility.
