I bought this to use with Python and Kivy, which is the gui. It works really well for this and I am able to use the touchscreen and all of the mechanical buttons. Kivy runs without the need to load the desktop OS. The device has mounting points with threaded inserts on the back, bottom and both left and right sides.

Nicely made product, delivered really (REALLY!) quickly. I bought it to use as a Home Assistant (HA) terminal but there were serious conflicts between HA Supervisor mode and the Raspberry Pi OS. I have ended up using a separate Pi running the HA OS, and then using the reTerminal just as a remote UI in kiosk mode

Excellent package and nice detail the screwdriver. You need some digging to use the user buttons, but not big deal.
