What is HDK?
HDK is our Hardware Development Kit. We start with an existing open-source platform, and then enable our customers to customize that platform and create their own custom board. Building off of a proven reference design allows our customers to dramatically speed up the prototyping process and quickly produce a working product.
How can we do this so quickly?
Seeed's Fusion service is a one-stop prototyping service for PCB manufacturing, PCB assembly, and other electronic and mechanical customized services, such as CNC milling, 3D printing, and PCB layout services. We have an Open Parts Library (OPL) where we purchase parts in large quantities in order to keep the costs as low as possible and have a broad collection of components from which to create your customized orders. With a manufacturing facility and staff at your command coupled with customizable designs and pre-sourced parts, manufacturing is quick and easy.
